The German Heritage Museum begins its 2012 German Heritage Lecture Series in January. Several lectures have been planned and will be held at the German Heritage Museum located at 4764 West Fork Road, beginning at 2PM.

29 January: “German Immigration Shipping Lines, presented by Russ Willoughby, German Ocean Liner Historian at the German Heritage Museum, 2PM.

19 February: “Boone County’s German Colony: The Early Settlers of Hopeful Lutheran Church,” presented by Micahel D. Rouse, Boone County Historian, at the German Heritage Museum, 2 PM.

 
18 March: “Turnvereine in the Greater Cincinnati Area,” presented by Dan Woellert, Turnverein Historian, at the German Heritage Museum, 2 PM.


15 April: “German Catholic Churches and Institutions in Cincinnati,” presented by Dr. Don Heinrich Tolzmann, GACL President and Curator of the German Heritage Museum, at the German Heritage Museum, 2 PM.

 
The German Heritage Museum features exhibits highlighting the German heritage, and also provides information on the German societies of the region.
